Happy Stone ID is made for families. We collect as little as possible, and this page explains in plain language what we do keep and why.
What we keep
Your account details (name, email address), your stones with their photos and descriptions, and the places where stones were placed or found. Locations belong to the stone, not to you: we do not track you.
Children
Children's accounts exist only within a family and are managed by a parent. Children's names are never visible to people outside the family; finders only see the name of the stone.
Photos and visibility
Photos of stones are visible to anyone who finds the stone. Please keep recognisable faces and home addresses out of the frame — we remind you of this when you upload.
Your rights
You can always view, change or delete your data in settings. If you delete your account, your stones keep travelling anonymously — or you take them offline with you. That choice is yours.
